A question such as what does the judicial branch do arises when there is a disturbance in the law of the country. The judicial branch of the country should be strict and all the people should be well acquainted according to what is right and what is wrong.

The solution of what does the judicial branch do is that it manages laws that has been set in the constitution. The Government is usually divided into the executive, legislative and the judicial part. The laws of the country are a very important component as it helps in maintaining the integrity and decorum of the country. So, the judicial branch maintains this by setting up courts in different levels of judgment. The people who are in the judicial branch usually leave when they resign or when they retire. The courts help in deciding which party is wrong and which party is right in case of a dispute. The dispute may be regarding any problems such as breaking of laws, immigration, cheating or any problems that may arise between two or more individual. It can also be regarding the tax paying or any other conflicts. For solving the problems they take the help of the pre written laws in the form of articles in the constitution of that country. The Supreme Court is the highest in the order of the courts. The lower division courts can give a saying for solving a problem and then the high court can also give a saying with the intention of coming to an end for a problem that has risen. But if the dispute is still not settled and the person is still not satisfied, the Supreme Court can be the final choice and they can be sure to get justice in that case.

What Does The Judicial Branch Do

A famous question in the history and civics question paper is what does the judicial branch do? Not quite a favored question if not the answer is not known. If the people know their own rules and responsibilities the judicial branch does not have much action but when there is a problem in following the rules and regulation, the judicial branch has to come in between to solve the arising problem. It can also be said that the secret ingredient of the welfare of the country is the judicial branch that works for it.

What Does The Judicial Branch Do

The Judicial Branch sounds very official and serious, I do realise that but what does the judicial branch do exactly? I'll try and keep this as simple as possible. The main responsibility of the Judicial Branch in the United States of America is to interpret the laws of the nation and ensure that they are applied and adhered to. It is not the responsibility of the Judicial Branch to create the law or to enforce it and all branches of government play a part in the running of the legal system. The branches of government are as follows:

The Legislative Branch – People of the United States of America refer to this branch as ‘Congress'. This branch of government creates the law.

The Executive Branch – This branch of government is responsible for enforcing the law.

The Judicial Branch – This branch resolves disputes in determining the law and ensures laws are constitutional.
The majority of courts in the United States of America belong to the Judicial Branch of government such as the District Courts and the most well known Supreme Courts. Not all the courts in the United States federal system belong to the Judicial Branch; the others would belong to the Legislative Branch.

What Does The Judicial Branch Do

The division in courts between the two branches of government fall under what we call ‘Articles'. There are three articles in the United States court system but I will not go into detail on this aspect of America's legal system.
The Supreme Court in America is actually head of the Judicial Branch which is probably the easiest way to remember this branch of government.

So if someone ever asks you; ‘what does the judicial branch do?' just remember that it has something to do with law system in America. If you appear to know what it is and appear to know what you are talking about it usually gets you by ok in this world.

The judicial or legal system in the United States of America is quite different to that of any other country in the world; however, I believe it is a much more organised system. Once you get your head around the initial set up of the system it automatically becomes much easier to understand the ins and outs of it.

I'm not going to bore you any more on this subject but I do recommend reading some more material on this and to familiarise yourself with one of the best legal systems in the world and the next time you overhear someone say ‘what does the judicial branch do?', feel free to jump right in.
